EASY TO CHOOSE. CLEAR TO COMPARE.

Infrastructure starts with a clear choice

01

Closer to your audience

Match user geography with server placement. Also consider external APIs, databases and other application components: communication between them affects response times. The catalog helps compare regions and keeps your chosen country selected through configuration. Latency requires real network tests; distance alone does not guarantee it.

02

Specifications in plain sight

CPU, memory, storage and network appear in the same order, so you can compare plans without collecting terms from multiple pages. Start with essential application requirements, then consider headroom for data growth and peak workloads. If a category is unavailable in a location, the interface shows this before checkout.

03

Pricing before checkout

The total includes your billing period and chosen extras. Monthly VPS pricing, optional services and the full-period estimate are shown separately. Change a configuration to compare the result immediately. This prototype has no hidden discounts or automatically enabled paid services; illustrative amounts are not confirmed commercial prices.

Understand the details before choosing a server

01

VPS hosting: an environment for your project

A virtual server is a software-isolated environment running on physical hardware. Unlike shared web hosting, a VPS lets you choose an operating system, install server software and manage application settings. This is useful when your project needs specific dependencies, background processes or several connected services.

On HostVPS.io, start with location and resource requirements. Compare vCPU, memory, storage type and capacity, network specifications and billing periods. The current demonstration catalog lets you explore the selection process; verified terms and availability will be published before ordering opens.

02

For websites, online stores and APIs

A VPS can host a web application, content management system, mobile app backend or online store. Consider request complexity, database workload, caching and concurrent operations, not just visitor numbers. Similar traffic volumes can place very different demands on a server.

Before launch, list your components: web server, runtime, database, job queue and monitoring tools. Compare each component’s requirements with the VPS configuration. When several services share one server, allow enough memory and storage for their combined workload.

03

For development, containers and test environments

A separate virtual server helps reproduce your application environment and test updates before release. It can run staging services, containers or build jobs when the selected OS and plan support the required stack. Keep testing separate from production databases and user secrets.

Frequent builds depend on CPU and disk performance; multiple containers require sufficient combined memory. Measure representative workloads and keep your environment configuration reproducible so that you can migrate or redeploy the project when necessary.

04

How to choose a VPS without unnecessary resources

Start with application requirements and a representative load test. CPU performs computation, RAM holds active process data and storage keeps files and persistent data. Networking carries traffic between the server, users and external services. Increasing one resource does not remove a bottleneck in another.

Compare the full cost for your chosen period and review optional services separately. Plan for backups, OS updates and monitoring. After launch, real measurements will show when a different plan is needed and which resources should be increased first.

FAQ

Answers before your first launch

info@hostvps.io
How do I choose a hosting country?

Consider your audience, data requirements and network routes. The list and map share one catalog. Test IPs and verified facility specifications will be provided before launch.

Which configuration fits my project?

Check your application’s CPU, RAM and storage requirements. A small website and a busy database have different needs. The demo categories help compare options; validate your choice with load testing.

Which operating systems can I select?

The prototype offers Ubuntu, Debian and AlmaLinux options. These illustrate the configuration interface; actual OS images and versions are not yet confirmed.

Can I pay and receive a server now?

No. This is a frontend prototype: select parameters and review the total, then checkout ends with a clear demo notice. Payments and provisioning are disabled.

Does pricing change with the billing period?

The monthly price stays the same. The total is the monthly plan plus extras multiplied by 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Discounts and taxes are not modeled; commercial terms will be confirmed separately.

Can I upgrade resources later?

The interface lets you compare larger configurations. Actual upgrade rules, data migration procedures and potential downtime have not yet been published.

Are protection and storage extras included?

Additional services are separate and are not enabled automatically. Only selected options enter the estimate. Their pricing, licensing and compatibility are illustrative in this prototype.

How is a VPS different from shared hosting?

Shared hosting usually gives you a provider-defined environment. A VPS provides a separate software environment where you can choose an OS and configure applications within the service terms. That flexibility also brings administration tasks: updates, access control, monitoring and backups. Confirm which tasks are included in a specific plan.

Are VPS and VDS different services?

Both terms are commonly used for virtual servers, but the names do not establish a universal set of guarantees. Compare virtualization technology, CPU and memory allocation, storage specifications and network limits. Published specifications and service terms matter more than the abbreviation.

Do I need separate backups?

Yes. Plan backups regardless of your disk capacity. Decide which data to save, how frequently to back it up and how many versions to retain. Keep copies separate from the primary environment, restrict access and test recovery. Automated backups are not listed as an included service in the current catalog.

Can I migrate an existing website to a VPS?

Migration usually requires application files, a database export, a compatible environment and access to the domain’s DNS. Test the project on the new server before changing DNS and monitor errors afterwards. The exact process depends on your stack. Free migration or specialist assistance is not promised; any assistance must be agreed separately.
